ON TARGET: GODIVA JAPAN'S 5-YEAR DRAMATIC TURNAROUNDWhen Jerome Chouchan joined Godiva Japan Inc. as Managing Director (for Japan, Korea, Australia and New Zealand) in 2010, the company had experienced three consecutive years of a same-store sales decrease. However, over the past 5 years, Godiva Japan sales have doubled, in a Japanese chocolate market that has remained flat during the same period and with a sluggish overall economy. Furthermore, in recent global staff feedback surveys within the Godiva group, Godiva Japan has moved from being average on measures of staff engagement to being at or near the top.

Since then he has held a number of senior executive position at leading global brands in this country, including at Lacoste, Hennesy LVMH Group and was President of Lladro Japan immediately prior to joining Godiva.
